Jack founded HiJack Productions in 2014 to be the local production arm international clients could trust in the UK and Australia. A decade of credits across commercials, fashion campaigns, content programmes, music video and independent film, with senior line producer and executive producer roles on work for international brands and agencies.

Edinburgh-based, Sydney second office. East Cork farm to start, NIDA-trained for theatre, then production. The producer's job is to make the work run. The senior producer's job is to make sure it was always going to run.

Senior line producers

A regular bench of senior UK and Australian line producers booked into HiJack jobs across both territories. Selected by credit list, working rhythm and how they handle the second day of bad weather.

UK rates to BECTU agreements. Australian rates to MEAA standards.

02 · DoPs

Cinematographers booked twice

Regular DoPs across narrative, commercial and fashion-film registers. The DoPs we book repeatedly are the ones the directors keep asking for back.

Munich, London, Glasgow, Sydney rotations, depending on the brief.

03 · Department heads

1st ADs, gaffers, location managers

1st ADs who run a tight day. Gaffers who know what the kit list actually has to be. Location managers with relationships in places we send a lot of work, Scotland, NSW, the South West, the West Coast.

04 · Crew

Daily crew on file

A working file of daily crew across both territories. Camera, grip, sparks, sound, art department, costume, hair and make-up, runners. Booked, billed and managed through the production office, not handed off to a third party.

Crew vetted by job, not by static list. We rebook the ones who came back stronger the second day.
